In Which I Issue Myself A Challenge

So I've been a bit stagnant lately, not really drawing much. Lots of things have been taking up my time lately, most notably an impending move. But I've felt bad about not keeping my hand in, at least a little.

So here's what I've come up with: The Character-A-Day Challenge. Every day I will select a different character (probably always fictional) in as random a way as I possibly can. Usually it'll be something I come across while I'm doing something else. I'll then bang out a quick sketch of that character and post it here. Most won't be anything special, but maybe a couple of them will turn out to be worthwhile. If I get a really good one, I'll fire up the Adobe and ink & color it.

If anyone finds this idea at all interesting and would like to request a character, just leave a comment. I'll get to requested characters on a first-come-first-serve basis.
